For the 14th time, the MTB community will meet on the Wednesday before the KitzAlpBike Marathon at the hugely popular event in the Tyrolean Brixental. And once again, it's one of the longest, highest MTB mountain sprints!
The atmosphere in Brixen im Thale is always very special and unique for each competitor. Hundreds of enthusiastic spectators along the route and in the finish area in Hochbrixen provide the uppermost support and encouragement, cheering along each competitor to the finish The track record for the almost 6 kilometres and 500 meters altitude is currently just under 18 minutes for the men and around 21.5 minutes for the women. Whether the records will be beaten again this year will depend on many factors – however, for most competitors, the challenge is to beat their own personal best. Time plays only a minor role at HillClimb Brixen, as for the 400 plus starters from more than 10 nations, only one thing is true: TO BE PART OF IT IS EVERYTHING!
After the race, there will once again be a big award ceremony followed by a party in the town.
The HillClimb Brixen im Thale in 2021 was in many ways a very special edition of the most popular mountain bike mountain sprint in Austria. Here you can find all the pictures and information about the race.
