COVID19: Cancellation of the KitzAlpBike Festival 2020

The 25th anniversary of the KitzAlpBike mountain bike festival in the Kitzbüheler Alpen Brixental must unfortunately has to wait.
Due to the current situation and the ban on events in Austria until at least the end of June, the KitzAlpBike Festival including the competitions, the Windautaler Bike Rally in Westendorf, the HiLLclimb in Brixen and the Marathon, as well as the E-Bike Days in Brixental cannot take part.

“With a heavy heart, we have had to cancel our traditional mountain bike festival for this year. All starters currently registered will be notified individually and can choose between moving their entry place to 2021 or receive a refund of the entry fee. We would be delighted to see everyone back at the start-line in 2021 to celebrate a great anniversary together, ”says Max Salcher, head of the KitzAlpBike Festival, a competition which attracts around 2,000 cycling enthusiasts every year to the Tyrolean mountain bike mecca.

The 25th anniversary of the KitzAlpBike Festival is expected to take place from June 26th - July 3rd, 2021.
