14.25 kilometers, 321 meters of altitude and more than enough challenging bends await the participants of the 7th Windau Valley Sprint Race.
The start kicks off in Westendorf town center - the final destination is the popular Windauer Gasthaus "Gamskogelhütte" at the southern end of the Windautal.
The Race
The Windau Valley Sprint Race starts in Westendorf town center. After the start, the race takes you across the town, past the new Westendorf Golf Course continuing along the Windautal road as far as the Rettenbach toll booth (at the Jagerhäusl Inn). From there, it takes an easy continuous ascent, alongside the Windauer Ache (stream), passing the Steinberg Inn as far as the finish line at the Gamskogelhütte.
