As part of the KitzAlpbike festival the children, youth, adults and the world's elite meet annually in Kirchberg at the Fleckalm circuit.

The cross country competition was a real mud fight. Rain and mud dominated the last race day at the KitzAlpBike festival. Nevertheless, the field of participants with 16 different nations was once again top! In the end, the Cross Country World Cup winner Yana Belomoina (UKR) won the race of the ladies.
In the men's Gerhard Kerschbaumer celebrated a historic success. The South Tyrolean already secured his third win in a row. In second place came the Czech Jan Skanitzel in front of Karl Markt from Ötztal. Local hero Max Foidl was also highly satisfied with seventh place.
